  • Community Cohesion in a University town
    Short tour from the University to Loughborough town centre to look at new student flats and terraced housing let to students. Followed by a presentation and discussion with all concerned stakeholders about efforts to deal with the issues arising from a large student population in a small town.
  • Leicester City Centre
    Coach from the University to Leicester's £3bn city centre regeneration, including the Science Park, Cultural Quarter with its £50m theatre, office quarter, £350m retail project and waterside. A short presentation from the Project Director will be followed by a show-around the theatre. Involves limited walking.
