Sponsorship Opportunities:

The National Regeneration Convention is a not for profit event, bringing together practitioners from every field of regeneration to network and share ideas. To allow communities to be fully represented, Convention fees are kept deliberately low, with bursary places on offer to groups who cannot find the funds to allow a delegate to attend.

Once again this year, our main sponsors* will provide bursary support for some delegates, but there are other activities which need financial support to ensure the Convention is a success.

Visits to Regeneration Projects:

The visits have become an integral part of the Convention, allowing the host area the possibility of showcasing achievements and plans: the visits are increasingly popular with delegates who come from the rest of United Kingdom.

  • The hire of the coaches to take delegates on these visits is offered as a sponsorship opportunity (£350 per coach)
  • Paying for the packed lunches which delegates take with them on the visits is another way of giving support to the Convention (£2,000)
  • Paying for suitable transport to allow disabled delegates full participation in the visits, or for carers to accompany them is another excellent way of showing support (£500)
Evening reception:

At the end of the first day, speakers, facilitators and delegates are invited to a welcoming reception on campus, involving four hundred people.

  • Supporting the reception by sponsoring the refreshments is a good way of giving the Convention a successful start (£1,500)
Convention evening meal and entertainment:

The informal evening meal will be followed by a programme of entertainment.

  • Hire of the suite (£1,000)
  • Financial support of the Convention meal (£6,000)
  • Financial support of the entertainment (£3,000)
are all opportunities for sponsors to become involved.

All sponsorship will be recognised by:

  • A logo or strap-line on all pre-Convention publicity, the delegate wallets and the Convention Brochure
  • Sponsors giving £10k and above are eligible for a free stand in the Convention Exhibition and four free delegate places
  • Sponsors giving £5K-£9K are eligible for a free stand in the Convention Exhibition and two free delegate places
  • Sponsors giving £1K-£4K are eligible for a free stand in the Convention Exhibition and one free delegate place.
