Fees:
  • The Convention is jointly sponsored by: RTPI; Communities and Local Government; Communities Scotland; the Department for Social Development, Northern Ireland; the Academy for Sustainable Communities; Communities First, Wales; the Joseph Rowntree Foundation; IdeA; Arts Council England, East Midlands; Leicester City Council.

  • They are keen that the event should be open to as many of those involved in regeneration as possible.

  • For this reason, the fee for the Convention has been set as low as possible with a full delegate rate of only £380.00 (+VAT). The 2007 event is residential - both to enable even more discussion amongst delegates and to provide even better value for money.

  • This fee therefore includes full accommodation, all meals, teas and coffees, an evening reception and social events, plus full documentation.

  • A day-delegate rate of £145.00 (+VAT) per day is available to include lunch, teas and coffees and full documentation.
Bursaries:
  • The Convention is rightly recognised for its inclusivity, guaranteed by the provision of bursaries for representatives of groups who could not otherwise afford to attend.

  • We offer bursaries for community representatives, particularly where local partnerships are sending a mix of residents and volunteers as well as paying for professional staff to attend.

  • This year, because of funding and sponsorship changes, there will be fewer bursaries available.

  • Groups which anticipate needing support to attend are encouraged to apply early and fill in the bursary application form.

  • NB Delegates from Scotland wishing to apply for a bursary must also fill in an additional form for Communities Scotland.

  • A maximum of two bursaries can be granted to any one group.
