The Exhibition:
- The eighth National Regeneration Convention will take place between Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th July 2007 at the University of Loughborough. Under the main title of People, Power and Poverty: the role of communities in shaping places, the Convention highlights the four strong themes of Place, Power, Deprivation and Cohesion and draws on examples of work from the UK.
- Last year's event was attended by over 600 people. Partnerships, local, regional and central government, RSLs, firms, consultancies, tenants and residents, and others involved in regeneration were all in evidence and the Regeneration Convention is firmly established as the forum where these groups can network, share experiences and discuss innovative policy and practice.
- The Exhibition mirrors the Convention: only groups and organisations whose products or services are of direct value to those involved in regeneration are being approached to take a stand. People staffing the stands are treated as delegates to the Convention and one of these may attend free of charge.
- Exhibition space is limited, making early booking advisable. Stands will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
