The Exhibition:
The seventh National Regeneration Convention, supported by the DCLG/NRU, Communities Scotland, Communities First, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Arts Council England, Civil Renewal Unit, the Academy for Sustainable Communities, DSD Northern Ireland and organised by ROOMatRTPI will take place between 24-26 July 2006.
This year's event focuses on the economy and neighbourhoods; getting the basics right; inspired leadership, drawing on examples from all over the UK.
Key policy issues are reflected in masterclasses, plenary sessions and workshops.
Last year's event was attended by over 600 people. Partnerships, local, regional and central government, RSLs, firms, consultancies, tenants and residents, and others involved in regeneration were all in evidence and the Regeneration Convention is firmly established as the forum where these groups can network, share experiences and discuss innovative policy and practice.
People staffing the stands are treated as delegates to the Convention and two staffers can attend at a reduced 'exhibitor' rate.
The Exhibition mirrors the Convention; only groups and organisations whose products or services are of direct value to those involved in regeneration are being approached to take a stand.
Exhibition space is limited, making early booking advisable. Stands will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
